Business Modeling imageAdvancements in technology, rising costs, and outdated business models are quickly eroding associations, small and large. To ensure future viability, associations must develop business models that are adaptive and take advantage of the rapidly changing eco-system in which they operate. Association leaders must be proactive when taking this challenge on.

This workshop will be focused on how to infuse innovation and design thinking into your association during the strategic planning process or when rethinking programs and services. We will explore ways to evaluate, design, and build business models to ensure future relevance.

The presenter and attendees will work collaboratively to complete a business model canvas, identifying: expertise which can be leveraged, capacity, customers, and finances. We will also take a more in-depth look at expertise, exploring what expertise each association has verses what expertise they need in order to attract members. Leaders will identify what value they bring to the table that their competitors do not.

Attendees will leave the session with the resources needed to harness the creativity and ideas that will position their organizations for the future.

This workshop is ideal for transformative leaders and visionaries.
